Q. I have land I wish to develop how do I contact Hayman Construction? A. Firstly it is recommended that you receive planning permission for any development you wish to undertake along with Building Regulation drawings, this would then be the time to contact us to enable us to provide you with a competitive quotation based on these drawings and specification.
Q. I am considering a project and have planning permission, do I need to have building regulations before I contact Hayman Construction? A. It is advisable to provide us with building regulations drawings and a full specification for the works, however for certain refurbishment`s and other works we can visit site and provide a quotation based on discussions or a budget price can often be provided using planning drawings.
Q. What about Health & Safety issues? A. We have a comprehensive health and safety policy and are completely familiar with the requirements of CDM regulations. We also employ an independent Health Safety Consultancy Company that make regular visits to our sites. In addition to this we operate a training programme that ensures our staff have all the relevant Health & Safety skills and qualifications for any tasks that we may undertake, including the relevant appointed first aiders on site.
Q. Is my project too large or too small for Haymans? A. We carry out a wide range of building and joinery services starting from jobs such as fitting a single lock or door handle in your property to a £2,000,000.00 plus building project of any type.
Q. Do you cover just the Southwest or do you carry out works nationwide? A. Our work in recent years has been predominantly been in the Devon and Cornwall area, however we would be more than happy to discuss any projects that are out of this area.
Q. What insurances and guarantees do Haymans provide? A. Under new build works we normally carry out the works under NHBC or Zurich, which will provide our constructions with lengthy guarantees. We possess all the relevant Insurance`s, which will provide peace of mind when choosing Hayman Construction Ltd as your contractor, such as Public Liability Insurance up to £5 million, Contractors. All Risks Insurance up to £1 million and Employers Liability Insurance up to £10 million.
